The best example showing responsibility is what we learned about King Kamehameha the Great because he had the responsibility of being leader of all the Hawaiians, and the eight major islands. Since he was the King he was responsible for his actions and if something went wrong in Hawaii, he had to fix it.
I think that being a King and having to rule the islands was a hard job. Just being in our school's student council was hard enough for me, because there were so many responsibilities I had like making sure that my class got counted and making sure I went to all of my meetings. Now I know how King Kamehameha must have felt.
Have you ever had a responsibility and you weren't responsible in doing what you needed to and you gave an excuse? Well to try and be a responsible person you can start by breaking that habit of giving excuses and always tell the truth, so that you can be responsible for your own actions.
