The best example of peace is the U.S.S. Missouri, or better known as the Mighty Mo. The reason why the Mighty Mo is a good example of peace is because a peace treaty was signed between the Japanese and the Americans which ended World War II. On the Mighty Mo, there is a plaque embedded in the deck of the ship marking the exact spot on where the Intent to Surrender was signed by Japanese officials.
Peace is important to us because when everyone shows peace, the world will become a better place to live. The Mighty Mo showed us that peace is precious. Something that you can do is to try and get along with people. Make the effort to work problems through. If you are ever on the island of Oahu then you should visit the Mighty Mo which is docked at Pearl Harbor, and take a tour of it.
