Where else but in Kamuela on the Big Island can you see a better example of the display of faith? Church Row is one of the best examples for faith because there are five churches of different denominations, but all on the same street. There is First Baptist church of Waimea, New Hope Christian Fellowship, Imiola Congregational Church, Ke Ola Mau Loa Church and Kamuela Hongwanji. We thought it was inspiring to see such strong community support in being flexible and allowing residents to establish the different churches to satisfy the people.
We feel that having a belief is important because it, in a good sense, drives someone to live their life in a certain path or way. If no one had a belief at all, then nobody would care about their actions or how it affects others or themselves.
