| Black Cats
Some people say that black cats cause bad luck. I'm going
to tell you about the black cats bad luck. They love to chew on anything
with there razor sharp teeth. Because of that people think they're dangerous.
Other people say if you pass a black cat at night on Halloween you will
have bad luck for that year or for your entire life (which means as long
as you live). Because of this, people get confused, but you can decide
which to believe because everyone thinks differently.

| Spiders
Spiders are considered a Halloween creature. There are many different
reasons and this is one of them.
An African legend says that a long time ago, all the creatures
on the earth were all male, and they needed wives . But all of the females
were goddesses and were all in heaven. The only creature that could
help them was the spider. He spun a web ladder that reached heaven. So
all the animals climbed the web. When they reached heaven, they all found
a mate. But when it was time to go down to earth a hare stayed and stole
some food. The theft was soon discovered. But all of the animals blamed
the spider. The spider said nothing to defend himself. He was too hurt
inside to speak.

There are many different kinds of frogs some of them are the bullfrog
and , tree frogs. Did you know that tree frogs have special pads on their
toes that allows them to cling to almost everything, like: branches, leaves,
and even glass windows. Bull frogs eat almost everything they see
that will fit in their mouth.

| Wolves
The wolf is one of the most misunderstood and hated animals.
Legends and stories have grown from this misunderstanding. One legend about
a half-wolf-half-man sprang up because wolves were hated and mistrusted.
It makes a good tale, but it is not true.
If you see a wolf, you are really very lucky. They avoid humans most of the time. Characteristics of the wolf: Wolves vary in size depending on their geographic location. The gray wolf (also known as the timber wolf) can grow to about 5 to 6.5 feet from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail and they can weigh up to 40 to 175 pounds. Habitats and range: The wolf can live in many different kinds of habitats, ranging from arctic tundra to forests and prairie. They are less likely to be seen in the highest mountains or desserts. |
