O pumpkin cards! O pumpkin cards; carry greetings to my
friends.
O pumpkin cards! O pumpkin cards; carry greetings to
my friends.
Let them know the day is here,
When Great Pumpkin will appear.
O pumpkin cards! O pumpkin cards; carry greetings to
my friends.
The pumpkin man is orange; he has an orange face.
His brother Joe is orange, and so's his sister Grace.
And whether he's at my house or clinging to the vine,
I'm so glad that Mister Pumpkin is a friend of mine.
The pumpkin man is orange; he has an orange shell.
He's happy being orange as anyone can tell.
And whether he's at my house or clinging to the vine,
I'm so glad that Mister Pumpkin is a friend of mine.
The pumpkin man is orange; he has an orange nose.
He's proud of bing orange the brighter that he grows.
And whether he's at my house or clinging to the vine,
I'm so glad that Mister Pumpkin is a friend of mine.
Halloween is all around, all around, all around.
Once a year it's always found, all around us.
Underneath a harvest moon, harvest moon, harvest moon,
Cats are crooning out of tune, all around us.
GIRLS: Witches boil their bubbly brew, bubbly brew, bubbly
brew,
Making mischief as they do, all around us.
BOYS: Owls are blinking in the breeze, in the breeze,
in the breeze,
Hooting from the tallest trees, all around us.
ALL: All in all it's quite a sight,
quite a sight, quite a sight,
'Cause it's Halloween tonight, all around us.
GIRLS: All around us.
BOYS: All around us.
GIRLS: All around us.
BOYS: All around us.
(Make eerie noises, cackles, hoots, and groans. Fade.)
I've Been Working On My Costume
tune: I've Been Working on the Railroad
CHORUS:
I've been working on my costume, all the live-long day.
I've been working on my costume, watch out! I'm on my
way.
When you see me at your doorbell, you'll know what I
mean...
I've been working on my costume, 'cause it's Halloween.
1. Little bit of this, little bit of that,
Itty bitty pillow to make me fat!
Wig upon my head, sheet from off my bed,
All because it's Halloween!
2. Crazy kind of nose, crazy kind of beard,
Don't know what I am, but I look weird!
Paint is on my face, powder every place,
All because it's Halloween!
3. Aunt Matilda's hat, Uncle Louie's vest,
No one's gonna know me from the rest!
Red pajama top, Mother's kitchen mop,
All because it's Halloween.
Ghoul days, ghoul days, goody, goody, ghoul days.
Ringing the bell of your neighbor's place,
Hearing him yell at your funny face.
You were the greatest ghost I've seen;
I was the witch whose hair was green.
And we haunted the house on Halloween,
When we were a couple of ghouls.
Carve a Pumpkin
tune: Are You Sleeping
Carve a pumpkin, Carve
a pumpkin
Oh what fun, Oh what
fun
Have a Jack-O-Lantern
Have a Jack-O-Lanttern
When you're done,
When you're done
Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo!
I'm a ghost to
scare you.
From Halloween
Town I"ve come here this night.
All dressed from
tip to toe in white.
Boo! Boo! Boo! Boo!
I'm a witch to
scare you.
I wear a dark cloak
and have a tall hat,
a flying broom
and a big black cat.
BOO!
Halloween, Halloween,
Lots of fun on Halloween.
Black cats and
ghosts, skeletons too,
Clowns and witches
all say Boo!
Pumpkins with eyes,
shiny and bright
Make us shiver
with fright.
Halloween, Halloween, We love Halloween.
Witches sailing
through the sky,
On their broomsticks
way up high.
Black cats howl
as they go by,
For this is Halloween!
Jack-0-lanterns
big and round,
On each gatepost
can be found,
Ghosts and Goblins
all around
For this is Halloween!
Ooooooooo
This is Halloween
Ooooooooo
This is Halloween
Let us borrow and
old sheet,
Make a costume
nice and neat,
And go walking
down the street,
For this is Halloween!
To the windows we
will creep,
With our ugly faces
peep,
Scare the folks
who are half asleep,
For this is Halloween!
Ooooooooo This is
Halloween
Ooooooooo This
is Haloween
I'm a mean old witch
with a hat!
And I ride on a
broom with my cat!
And my shoes are
pointed,
And my chin is
too.
And you better
watch OUT!....
'cause I might
scare you.
I'm a mean old witch with a hat!
What are you going
to be on Halloween night,
a witch or a goblin
or a ghost?
What are you going
to be on Halloween night,
a ghoul that is
ghoulier than most?
What are you going
to be on Halloween night,
a monster who'll
fill me with distress?
What are you going
to be, well don't tell me.
Wait 'till Halloween
and let me guess.
1. Oh, my
Darlin', Oh, my darlin', Oh my darlin' Frankenstein
You are lost and
gone forever, I'm so sorry Frankenstein.
2. I
was working with my test tube in my laboratory fine,
When one day I
broke my glasses and I made poor Frankenstein.
3. Oh, his
nose I made it quickly from a rotten apple core;
His tongue was
nice and purple, and hung down to the floor.
4. Frankenstein
helped in the kitchen; he was baking up a cake,
When he fell into
the mixer and got mixed up by mistake!
5. Cooking
nicely in the oven, Oh the cake it came out fine,
Told my friends
those lumps were raisins, but those lumps were
FRANKENSTEIN!
One little, Two
little, Three little Witches
Fly over haystacks,
fly over ditches.
Slide down the moon
without any hitches,
Hi-ho Halloween's
here!
She's stuck on her
broomstick and can't get off,
The poor old witch
can't get off.
She sat in some
bubble gum what a sight!
Now she's stuck
on her broomstick, good and tight.
She'll never make
Halloween night!
Way up high, in
the sky, you can see them going by,
As the witches
go flying along.
Here and there,
in the air, you can see them everywhere,
As the witches
go flying along.
With a ZOOM! ZOOM!
ZOOM!
Every one is on
her broom,
Singing a Halloween
song.
In the bright moonlight,
it's really quite a sight,
As the witches
go flying along.
As the witches
go flying along!
Boogie Woogie Ghost
There was a ghost on Halloween, he really made the
ghostly scene,
He was the boogie woogie ghost, He was the ghostie
with the most
And when the kiddies came around He'd give out with
a ghostly sound
He'd go BOO OO OO OO OOOOOO
He go out spooking late at night and giving every one
a fright,
He knew some witches, two or three, and they would
all go on a spree
And when the morning came around He'd give one last
mysterious sound,
He'd go BOO OO OO OO OOOOOOO
Though he really wasn't very spooky. Kids all
thought that he was rather cool.
Even though he was a little kooky,
He was just a special ghoul.
When you're out on Halloween and he appears upon the
scene,
Don't give a scream and run away, just ask him if
he'll stay and play.
You'll like the Boogie Woogie Ghost, He'll be the
one you dig the most,
You'll love his BOO OO OO OO OOOOOO!
There was an old woman all skin and bones, O-o-o-o!
She lived down by the old graveyard -o-o-o!
One night she thought she'd take a walk, -o-o-o!
She walked down by the old graveyard, o-o-o!
She saw the bones a-layinâ around, O-o-o-o!
She thought sheâd sweep the old church house,
O-o-o-o!
She went to the closet to get a broom, O-o-o-o!
She opened the door and BOO!
