Haunted House Treat Carrier
 

WHAT YOU  NEED:
 * Half gallon milk carton 
 * Black, yellow, and brown 
        construction paper 
 * Scissors 
 * Masking tape
 *Halloween stickers 
 *Yarn 
 *Hole punch 
 *Black marker 
 *Glue

WHAT TO DO: 

1- Cut off the top of the milk carton, where it starts to 
       form a spout. 
2- Place the yellow paper around the carton, cut it to 
       fit, and tape/glue in place. 
3- Place the brown paper over the yellow 
       (donât tape/glue) , cut to fit. Draw a door and a 
       few windows, remove and cut the windows and 
       doors on three sides so that they can 
       open and close. Glue the brown paper 
       to the yellow and open the door and window. 
4- Cut nine long stands of yarn to make the handle. 
       Punch two holes on opposite sides of the carton. 
       Knot one end of the string in one of the holes 
5- Braid every three stands of yarn together.  After 
       theyâve all beenbraided, braid the three braids 
       together, to make a strong handle.  Then knot the 
       other end of the strings in the other hole. 
6- Place the stickers wherever youâd like.  Then 
       cut a roof out of the black paper, and glue to the front 
       of 
       the house. 
7- Use a black marker to add more detail to the house

LACE PUMPKINS

YOU NEED:

* a balloon
* orange yarn
* liquid starch
*paint

HOW TO MAKE IT:
Blow up and tie a balloon.  Soak the yarn in the 
liquid starch.  Wrap the saturated yarn around 
the balloon.  Let it dry over night.  Deflate the balloon,
and remove it gently.   Paint the eyes, nose, and
mouth.

GHOST

PALETTE  CERAMCOAT BY DELTA:
Black       White      Orange
COUNTRY COLORS:
Stoneware Blue

SUPPLIES:  Extra fine point sharpie pen

WOOD PREPARATION:
Base with  one coat of white paint.  Let it dry.
Sand with 220 grit sandpaper.  Apply a second coat.
 

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Black:  Outline the eyes and mouth.
2- Stoneware Blue: Float lightly around the
outside edge of the ghost and around outside
of eyes next to the pupil.
3- Orange: Stipple the cheeks
4- Black: Lightly apply eyelashes and 
outline the blue in the eyes.
5- White:Apply highlights to the eyes.
6- Use an extra fine Sharpie pen and stitch
lines around the outside edge.
7- Hot glue a 1/8" black satin bow to the neck.

EGG CARTON CRITTERS
 
SPIDER 

YOU NEED: 
* 1 egg cup
* 8 pipe cleaners

1- Cut out one egg carton cup.
2- Shape the eight pipe cleaners into legs.
3- Place four of them on each side of the cup.
4- Fit the pipe cleanerson the inside of the cup
with tape
5- Draw a face on the front with markers or crayons


 
 
BAT

YOU NEED:
* 3 egg cups
* 1 rubber band

1- Cut three egg cups out of an egg carton.
2- Cut out the front of two cups as shown above.
3- Draw a face on the center cup.
4- Poke a hole in the center cup.
5- Thread the rubber band through the hole

Halloween Images

You Need:

* Pre-cut Images
* Orange or black construction paper.
* Orange or black paint (opposite color from paper)
* Sponges

How To Make It:

1-Take the images and place them where ever you'd like on the consruction paper.
2- Then dip the sponges in the paint.
3- Press aroundthe entire cut out.

WINDOW HANGINGS:

You Need:

* Orange and black constuction paper.
* Scissors
* Glue
* Crayons

How To Make It:

1- Make Halloween shapes (Ghosts, Bats, Pumpkins).
2- You could use cookie cutters or stencils to provide you with other shapes.
3- Glue them to the opposite colored paper.
4- Put them on your windows or doors.

Spider Braclets

You Need:

* Wiggle eyes
* White paper
* Black construction paper
* Stapler
* Scissors
* Glue
* Pencil
* White Crayon

How to make it:

1. Fold the black contruction paper in half.
2. Along the folded edge, lay your palm down and trace with white crayon.
3. Cut out the hand, but don't cut out the fold.
4. Unfold the paper and it should look like a spider with eight legs.
5. Turn the spicer over and roll the legs around the pencil...it should make the legs curl under.
6. Cut a 1 inch strip with the scrapes, make it big enough to fit around your wrist. Staple the ends together to form a ring.
7. Glue on the wiggle eyes and cut out two small triangles and glue them to look like fangs.
8. Glue the spider onto the ring.

ãRaisin the Deadä
   Party favor or craft

Supplies: 
Very small pack of raisins. 
Gray paint. 
Fine line black permanent marker. 
Hot glue gun. 
Small block of wood and scroll saw. 
Sand paper. 
Variation: cardboard and scissors.

Directions: 
Tombstone÷ Cut the wood in the shape of a tombstone, like a long half circle or a rectangle. 
Sand the rough edges. 
Paint it gray. 
Let it dry. 
Write on it ãRaisin the Deadä 
Then glue the tombstone on the box of raisins.

Variations: Cut thick pieces of cardboard in a tombstone shape, glue three together for thickness.  Paint and letter.  Then glue on raisin box.

Your friends will laugh at your cleverness!

Shrunken Apple Heads

Large red or golden delicious apple
1/3 cup lemon juice
1tbsp. salt 
Whole cloves
Rice
Bottle cap

Peel apple and coat with mixture of lemon juice and salt.
With a potato peeler, knife, or pumpkin carver carve out eye sockets, a nose, mouth and ears.  Stick hole cloves where eyes should be and rice where teeth should be.  Sit apple on top of bottle cap.  Place on a drying rack in a warm, dry place for about  2  weeks.
