You'll make paper mache globes out of large 11 inch balloons, starch,
                and strips of paper. Blow the balloon up, cover it with water and starch,
                then layer strips of newspaper on the balloon.  Allow time to dry.  Then,
                you will paint it so it resembles a
                globe. Next,  take a white strip cut like a ribbon or banner and glitter the
                numeral "2000" big enough to see from a distance. The banner will be
                glued onto the front using a small ripple action to give it a 3D effect. Attach
                the 3 cards to the bottom using fish line and a curved needle. These can be
                displayed around the room as way of bringing in a new year.
