Inventions of the 50's

There were many inventions in the 1950's.  Medicine was improving rapidly in the fifties.  An oral vaccine was invented to fight against polio and other crippling diseases.  Also, Rosalind Franklin used X-ray procedures to discover the structure of DNA.
One of the most helpful and successful inventions was the snowmobile.  The snowmobile has really helped a lot of people in snowy weather who aren't able to get around by car.  Places like Alaska have really valued from the snowmobile.  Also, some people bought them and rode them just for enjoyment.  They took it on vacation, or maybe to a nearby lodge with lots of snow.  The snowmobile was also used to haul a lot of things.
This is still a popular invention today. At first site, the snowmobile doesn't seem to powerful.  But it is!  If you have ever ridden one, you would definately know that.  You can feel the wind hitting hard against your face.  But, riding a snowmobile is very fun.
I think the snowmobile was a great invention that has brought many people help and enjoyment.  I think that a lot of people have valued from this invention.
