Attempting Tens

In the 1910's, many amazing things happened.  From the Titanic sinking to the war that burst out, life changed in many aspects. Take a look at this decade's web page, for a new way to look at this decade of change.  Woodrow Wilson's 14 points speech, was also in 1910's, and was a inset to the future. In 1910, women won the right to vote after fighting for many years.  In 1913, the Panama Canal was opened around 11:00 am, after the USA and Panama signed a deal. The U.S.A. entered World War I in 1917.  Then in 1918, World War I ended in armistice (cease fire)!  Many other things happened, like fads on ladies clothes, and the refrigerator invention!  The information on these events and more can be found by clicking on the underlined word of your choice.
