Marissa Agena was born on the island of Kaua'i. She is eleven years old and is in the sixth grade. She goes to Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School. In her elementary years she went to King Kaumuali'i School in Hanamaulu. She has a sister in the fourth grade. Her ethnic group is Japanese, and Okinawan.Her name is Mindi.
When Marissa was ten years old she begged her dad for an ukulele at Christmas and he said no. On Christmas morning she looked under the tree where her presents were and she saw an ukulele case. The note said "From Santa Claus", she figured it was from her dad. But, she wasn't too sure. A year later her dad accidently let it slip that he bought her the ukulele. Her assumption was right.
Marissa has a four string concert Kamaka ukulele. She started playing in her fourth grade ukulele band. She has been playing for two years now.
