Roald Dahl was born in Wales of Norwegian in 1916.Roald spent most of his childhood in England. When he was 18 he moved to Africa. When World War 2 broke out Roald joined the Royal Air Force. Then, at the age of 26 he moved to the United States and started writing. In 1960 he started writing children's books.Now Roald Dahl is considered one of the most beloved storytellers of our time. He passed away in 1990 but his legacy lives on forever.
