When Bambi is young, his mother tends to leave him home alone.  One day, an old stag came and told Bambi he must learn to stop crying for his mother and become a "man".  Later, Bambi meets Faline and Gobo.  A few days later, Bambi's mother gets killed by "him" and Gobo gets captured by "him."  Several years after that, Bambi and Faline find Gobo near the meadow. He said that the man was very kind to him.  Faline and Bambi don't quite believe him.  When the man comes, Gobo gets killed.  All of a sudden, the man chases Bambi and shoots him in the shoulder.  Is this the end for Bambi?

Bambi is a fine young buck who grows up to be very strong and stern.
