Rick Walker is an orphan.  Rick is alone and on the run.  Rick has just escaped from Blue Canyon.  Now he is riding in the back of an old pick up truck and then in no time he finds himself out in the middle of nowhere.  The Maze.

Rick somehow discovers Lon Pegerino's camp.  Lon Pegerino is a bird biologist. Lon is releasing California Condors back into the wild.  Rick finds these Condors very interesting and decides to stay and live with Lon.  When day to men drive up in an old Humvee and search through Lon's camp.  Lon and Rick get suspicious because they see these two men carry illegal weapons to their camp.  Lon and Rick go through many adventures to try and save the birds.  Can they save them?
