Jumping - Rope

    Jumping rope is not only a healthy activity but a fun one too. When you are jumping rope you are exercising your leg muscles as well as your arm muscles. You are also in a way exercising your heart, as your body moves faster, your heart starts beating faster. Our school enters a program called "Jump Rope for Heart". The kids at our school go out in their neighborhoods ,with their parents and collect money for the program . the money is then sent in to the American Heart Association where it is used for research and to help pay for open-heart surgery for less fortunate people that need it all around America. The kids then get prizes for how ever much money they raised.
