Have you ever felt Jell-O? Well that's the way cytoplasm feels, except it doesn't have the flavor and it does flow. Cytoplasm is inside the cell wall, and outside the nucleus. It contains a lot of water, many chemicals, and structures that carry out the life processes in the cell. The structures that the it contains is called organelles.
