The object of bowling is to knock down the
pins. In the picture to the left, the pins are represented by white
circles. The back of the bowling alley is colored blue. The
dark yellow part is the lane. If you step on to the lane, you will probably
fall. They make it slippery. The light yellow part is where
you and your team sits while they are not bowling. The black line
between the lane and where your team sits is called a "Foul
Line." If you cross is, you get a foul. It is like an
automatic gutter. |
