New Hampshire

 

 

The state quarter of New Hampshire was the ninth quarter released. It was the ninth out of the thirteen original colonies. The capital of New Hampshire is Concord.

The symbol New Hampshire used on their quarter is "The Old Man of the Mountain". This symbol was chosen, because it is a very unique rock or Mt. Franconia Notch. These layers were made of Conway red granite. It becomes the profile of an old man looking eastward. The New Hampshire state motto is "Live free or die". There are nine stars on the quarter representing it was the ninth state admitted to the United States.

The New Hampshire state quarter was made on August 7, 2000.
