How did we do that?
| After weighing and measuring
their owl pellets, each student dissected and sorted what they found. |

| The bones were then rearranged into
a skeleton. By using skulls and teeth the students identified what kind of prey their owl ate. |

| They can also determine the availability
of food depending on the number of skeletons in their pellet. |
 |
| Then we took a picture of one of the
skeletons with a digital camera and labeled the skeleton bones using PhotoShop 6.0. |
