It's a touring life for us.
It's a touring life for us.
Instead of home, it's hotels for us.
Instead of school, we're on a bus.
It's a touring life.

Always eating at Burger King.
Always bowing to the King.
Even though we like them both;
Even though they stunt our growth;
It's a touring life.

So, we travel from one city to another,
Doing show after show after show.
The King has died so many times and places,
Soon there will be nowhere left to go.

Some of us have been here since the summer.
Some of us for just a month or two but,
hope you know we all agree on one thing.
It's been real nice getting to know you.

Now its time we end our song.
Hope we didn't take too long but,
we would like to say we really want to stay,
in the touring life.

Lyrics written by Mike Borth
Assistant Musical Director of the production
-to the music of "It's A Hard Knock Life" - Annie
