Galapagos Turtle
The Galapagos tortoises are endangered. The males way from 115 (51 kg) to as much as 600 pounds (270 kg). The females are somewhat smaller. Their natural habitat is the Galapagos Islands because anywhere else in the world they have either been wiped out altogether or reduced to near extinction. Their population is 15,000 from 250,000 because of humans.
