| Metamorphic rock is formed inside the earth's crust. When igneous and sedimentary rocks have a lot of pressure and heat, they are changed to metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic means change. The pressure and the heat squash the rocks together and that is how the metamorphic rock is formed. | ||
