 2261 Nuuanu Ave. The Royal Mausoleum was built in 1863. In the olden days the chiefs, kings, and queens were buried in caves. Then they took the buried bones and put them at the Royal Mausoleum next to the church. Then they started a Hawaiian Cemetery. The Hawaiian Cemetery has all kings,queens,and cheifs buried there.
