 Queen Emma Queen Emma was very beautiful, was well educated, and was part British. Queen Emma was adopted by Dr.C.B.Rooke and she attended a royal school called "The Chief's Royal School". Most every king or queen went to this royal school. Alexander had an uneven temper like when he was happy he was excited and when he was sad he was miserable. But when he became king and got married to Queen Emma he was calm and didn't have an uneven temper. Queen Emma was very educated and acted like a good Queen and also taught Alexander how to be a good King. The Hawaiian and the British liked her because she was very nice and she always followed the rules. When she got older John Young II, bought a palace at an auction. He gave this palace to his niece, Queen Emma and Emma called it "Queen Emma's Summer Palace".This palace is still standing at 2913 Pali Highway at Nu'uanu Valley. Queen Emma and Alexander Liholiho were concerned about the Hawaiian people's health so they started the Queen's hospital and it was named after Queen Emma. When Queen Emma got older and when King Kamehameha V was ruling Hawaii, he named his birthday the "Kamehameha Day" and she honored the day on December 11. Prince Albert was the Son of Queen Emma and Kamehameha IV. Prince Albert was Born on May 20,1858 and He died 4 years after his birth. Prince Albert died because he had nimonia and he got this disease when he wasn't listening to his dad then he got a bucket of water and splashed it over his body then he got sick, then he a few more days after the sickness he had died.
