Queen Kaahumanu was the wife of King Kamehameha the Great once ruled Hawaii after King Kamehameha died in 1819 then King Kamehameha the second.She was born in 1768 and died on June 5,1832.

There is a story that after she was born at the old battle field in Kauiki. Many battles were raging all around for her mother hid young Kaahumanu in a cave where no one could reach her. Altought her cries were loud the graceful wind and the waves clamed her down. And was not yet discover till all of the battles were over.

Queen Kaahumanu's mother was the Queen of Maui so that was the reason her mother and the father died because of the battle so she was an orphan for a short period of time. She became the Queen of Hawaii when she married the the king of Hawaii King Kamehameha.
