Space Station
The space station is estimated to take 40 trips
to complete the ISS.
Space shuttle Atlantis will continue the on orbit construction of the
station with the installation of the U.S Laboratory Module Destiny.The
Destiny will become the center for scientific research. Some of Destinyís
features include a life support system, an enviromental control, communication
and tracking systems, and command and data handiling capability. They plan
to test the docking with the orbital outpost. They will also conduct an
experiment that tells how much energy the U.S. solar rays are making.
