Oldest FAI Record Breaker 

The oldest pilot to set a world record as recognized by the FAI, is the wing commander Kenneth Wallis.  Who is now retired, at the age of 81 years 336 days, for the fastest climb to auto gyro, which is 9,842.5 ft., over Norfolk, England, on March 19,1998. 

Most Landings By A Single Aircraft

 Most scheduled flights in 24 hours

      Brother Michael Barlett of Sandy, Bedford shire, UK, made 42 scheduled passenger flights with Heli Transport on June 13,1990.  The trips went between Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Monaco, and Cannes in 13 hours and 33 minutes.

Balloon Distance Record 


       The FAI distance record for a gas and hot air balloon is 40,814 km. In other words it's 25,361 miles.  The record was set by Bertrand Piccard of Switzerland and Brian Jones from the UK, who piloted the BREITLING ORBITER 3 from March 1-12 1999.
