Most Planes Flown In As A Passenger 

        Edwin A.Shacklton of Bristol, which is in England if you didnít already know, has flown as a passenger in exactly 714 different types of aircrafts.  His first flight ever was on the D.H. Dominie in March 1943.  Other types of aircrafts that he has flown in include helicopters, gliders, and hot-air balloons. 
 

First Pacific Hot Air Balloon Crossing

         In Between January 15 and 17, 1991, RichardBranson and Per Lindstrand crossed the Pacific in the VIRGIN OTSUKA PACIFIC FLYER.  It is 2.6 million-cu. ft. balloon- the largest one ever flown secsesfully. 

Greatest Aviation Passenger Load 

       The greatest aviation passenger load was carried by one airliner was during the ěOperation Solomonî  It began May 24,1991 carrying 1,088 passengers.  Ethiopian Jews were evacuated to Israel on an El Al Boeing 747.  The figure includes 2 babies that were born during the flight over. 

Most expensive Military Aircraft 

 The most expensive military aircraft, was made in the United States, and was called the B2 Spirit.  The cost of the military aircraft was $1.3 billion.  It had a long-range multi-role bomber.  It can deliver conventional and nuclear bombs.  It can also carry a total payload of 17.85 tons. 

    The Largest Working Airship 

  The largest working airship is the WDL 1B.  It is one of three of which have been built at Mulheim.  Mulheim is in Germany. It is 197 ft. long.  It has an inflatable volume of 7,200 square miles or 254232 square ft.
