The Jurassic period was when the dinosaurs started getting more plentiful and started getting bigger. During the Jurassic period the two parts of Pangaea, Laurasia and Gondwanaland started separating. For backboned animals, also called vertebrates, the reptiles were predominant. Also during this time period small mammals were quickly developing. Conifers, ferns, and horsetails were the dominate plant life. |
