During the Triassic Period of the Mesozoic Age, the continents were altogether forming one giant land mass called Pangaea. Conifers were the dominant tree. Cycad and bennettitaleans ferns first appeared and became plentiful. Dinosaurs and mammals first appeared. The least number of Dinosaurs existed during the Triassic period. |
