| A VR panorama can be created anywhere. At home, in school, on vacation and even on fieldtrips! All you need is a camera, tripod, a tripod head and a program to stitch it together. Our school is located in the heart of New York City. It is near Central Park, one of the largest parks in the world, and it is close to Columbus Circle, an important landmark in New York. Above are two panoramas created after neighborhood tours.
Ellis Island, where most of the immigrants in the U.S.A arrived, is an important venue for a fieldtrip. Each year at the beginning of the study of immigration in social studies, the sixth grade take a trip to Ellis Island. Above is a panorama of Ellis Island which was created after the trip. How we created the panoramas above is similiar to the virtual school tour |
