Directions for Setting Up The Game

Before beginning the game you need to:
     1. print out this page (Game directions & game pieces/Treasure Chest Card/Jolly Roger Card/
          Treasure Bank)
          To use the game pieces just fold them in half and they will stand up.
     2. print out one copy of the game board.
     3. print out one copy each of the Treasure Chest Cards and Jolly Roger Cards
     4. print out two copies of the pieces of eight
     5. cut out the game cards and pieces of eight
     6. borrow one square dice cube from another game

Game rules

1.     This game is for 2 - 4 players.
2.     Each player should start with 10 pieces of eight
3.     Roll the dice to see who goes first.
4.     Each player rolls the dice once and moves the number of times that the dice shows.
5.     Follow the directions on each square as you move around the board.
6.     The first person to go around the gameboard twice ends the game and
        gets 5 pieces of eight.
7.     Once the game is over, each player should count their pieces of eight. The winner is the
        player who has the most pieces of eight.
