Oak Island

Is there really a treasure buried deep under ground on Oak Island, Nova Scotia?  It is believed by many that The Money Pit (the treasure) is located on Oak Island and is protected by a booby trap.  This trap makes the excavation fill with water before the treasure is reached.  Several lives and millions of dollars have been lost trying to dig up the treasure.  Some believe that Captain William Kidd hid his prizes on the island.  Others believe that the pirates used the island as something like a community bank. Daniel Blankenship, a geologist, lowered a submarine television camera 212 feet into the pit and saw three chests, a tool like a pick axe, three logs on the chamber floor, and a partly clenched human hand that had been chopped off.  Before Thomas Jefferson was elected as president of the United States, he also searched for the treasure on Oak Island.  Since none have been successful at locating the treasure, no one knows if it was a community bank or belonged to Captain William KiddThe following is a diagram of the actual excavation of the treasure on Oak Island.
