I first heard about the Thinkquest Junior competition when Mrs. Beasley invited me to help coach the Pirates, "Brethren of the Seas" Team.  Working with the five boys who make up this team has been a great pleasure.  I was amazed at how easily they learned how to build their web site.  I hope that you enjoy searching through the Pirates website and  that you will send us your comments through the guest book.

I was introduced to the Thinkquest Junior Competition through a professional development workshop that was offered through my school system.  I have always enjoyed a good challenge and since I did not know anything about web design, entering a team into Thinkquest Junior would certainly be one.  Working with the Pirates team was pretty easy since all of the boys have been friends for just about their entire school careers.  Please visit the guestbook or send an e-mail message to the Seaswabbies and tell them what you liked about their site and suggest ways to improve the site if you can.
