Mexico City, the capital of Mexico is a fun and exciting place to visit. It has good food, nice weather and cool attractions. The 1990 census reported that Mexico City proper had 8,236,960 people. The metropolitan had 15,047,685 people, that means it was the largest urban area in the world. The economy in Mexico City is mostly manufacturing. It manufactures textiles, pharmaccuticals, steel, chemicals, electronics and transportation equipment. Mexico City literally likes to spice things up. They eat very spicy things including tacos, chips with hot salsa, burrito's, enchiladas, and tortillas just to name a few. You might already be familiar with some of these warm treats. Most of the people in Mexico City are of the Roman Catholic faith.
