The Civil War

The Civil War was an important event that took place between 1861-1865. This war split the United States of America into two sides. They were the Confederate States and the Union States. The Confederate States were Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisisana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. The Union States were California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Thode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
