More Money More Goals

Why do you save? Most of the time it’s a goal? For many kids a goal would be one or two of the items listed:

But other kids save for the future like:

Then some kids save to just have some extra cash to spend or keep till something they want becomes available.

How do you earn money, for the goals? There are lots of ways to make money, the most common way for kids to make money is allowance. You do daily chores a week and get a certain amount of money a week from parents. Some kids get 0 dollars to 20 dollars so it differs. Something I like to do is keep a little money extra all the time so I can get the items I purchase. Try it, it might work!

Lets say there is something you really want to get, and it is 100 dollars but you already spent all your money. How do you get it? This is a simple chart showing how:

Daily Chores

  • Extra chores like:

  • Raking leaves

  • Shoveling snow

  • Sweeping

  • Doing dishes

  • Vacuuming

  • Cleaning

These are some of the many ways to earn money. Another way of saving money could be if you know you want in the future like a bike, computer, and other expensive items, is to have a jar, or piggy-bank, labeled for those items and when you get money you can divide up all the money you get each week, and put it in each jar, or piggy-bank.

Those are only some ways you can save money for a goal, and accomplish it. Try some of those techniques and see if they work for you!
