President George W. Bush is our Forty-Third President of the United States.

The President's Duties: The Presidents duties are given to him from the Constitution, here are five of duties of the President. (1) The President shall command the armed forces
(2) He shall have power to require reports in writing from the of departments.
(3) He shall make treaties with foreign nations.
(4) He shall appoint officials of the United States.
(5) He shall enforce the laws and recommend new laws that may be needed.

Presidential Facts: There are many interesting facts about holding the office of the Presidency. Here are a few of them.
(1) You have to be 35 years old to run for President.
(2) No one may be elected President more than twice.
(3) You must be born in the United States.
(4) You must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years.
(5) A Presidential term of office is 4 years.

  • He attended Phillips Academy, Yale University and Harvard Business School.
  • He was the Governor of Texas from 1995-2001..
  • He was in the oil business in Midland Texas.
  • He was part owner of the Texas Rangers baseball team.
  • His brother Jeb is the Governor of Florida.
  • When he was young his parents were his role models.
