The Indians traded white men for little glass beads. They made jewelry and decorations.
The beads were used to resemble their ancestors, gods, or the Indians made patterns and designs.

The Native Americans have a thing that has feathers, a flexible stick brought into a circle, and string. This object is called a dream catcher. The Indians thought this dream catcher would take the bad dreams that tried to come into their head. The string would catch them, and the feathers would throw the bad dreams away.
