- In 1975, communist Pathet Lao took control
of the government, ending a six-century monarchy.
- Laos is located in Southeastern Asia,
northeast of Thailand, and west of Vietnam.
- The capital of Laos is
Vientiane.
- The colors of the Laotian flag are red,
blue, and white.

How to
Play
- Dig a hole in the ground, then draw a line
about ten feet away.
- Players attempt to throw their marble into
the hole.
- If your marble gets into the hole, you
become a tiger.
- A tiger has the advantage of being able to
get people out if their marble touches another one.

Chopsticks
How to play
- Put the chopsticks on the ground in a way
that they would be harder to retrieve.
- Throw the ball, then try to remove one of
the chopsticks before the ball touches the ground.
- The player who retrieves the most
chopsticks wins.
