About Us
Alexandra - I am a 4th grader at Beverly Farms Elementary School. I worked on the hopscotch page, and the welcome page. I put the graphics on the hopscotch page, and anchors on the hopscotch page. I learned a lot of facts about computers in participating in this group. I enjoyed the testing that I did for every page. If I were you, I would think about joining this group (even if you're embarrassed about not knowing anything about computers!) You'll learn everything about computers you need in this group!
Benny - I am in 4th grade. I worked on the Jacks from Around the World page. Another thing I helped with was the games and quizzes. I edited the maps and tested the links. I did the facts and figures on North America and South America. I also worked on the word search. Another thing I worked on was the hangman game. I edited the interesting facts about Africa, Europe, South America, North America, and Australia. I edited the menu page and helped specify the target frame on the links to other pages. This was a great experience and I hope other people join ThinkQuest. In conclusion I have learned a lot from ThinkQuest.
Elizabeth - I attend 5th grade at Beverly Farms Elementary school. I wrote the Introduction Page, Asia Page, and the Australia Page. I learned a lot by participating in this program such as web pages won't work without commitment, and Australia isn't an independent country! I hope that if you have the chance, you consider participating in ThinkQuest Junior.
Karen - I am a fifth grader at Beverly Farms Elementary School. I learned many things about the computer when working on the Zambian, Zimbabwean, and Ghanaian pages. For example, I learned how to make a link and an anchor. I also learned how to edit a web page in "HTML" and how to download and upload. In addition, I learned how to transfer pages on to a floppy disk and how to make computer graphics. I also learned how to find information and site references and how to work independently and cooperatively. Furthermore, I learned how to make a commitment and be an important part to my ThinkQuest Junior team. I think ThinkQuest Junior is a great activity.
Maggie - I am a fifth grader at Beverly Farms Elementary School. When I was making my web pages "Italian, Sweden, England, multiple choice quiz and the Europe map," I learned many new things. Such as how to make a link, how to make an anchor, how to edit my page in "computer language," how to download and upload, how to transfer pages on to a floppy disk, how to make graphics, how to find information and site references, how to agree on our topics, how to become responsible and make a serious commitment, and last of all I learned how to make a web page! I think that ThinkQuest Junior was a great learning experience!
Oliver -I am in fourth grade. I am 9 and soon 10 years old. My favorite sport is soccer and ping-pong. What I have done for this web page is: tested links, did some map editing and created the polish games web page and the marbles web page. I have learned a lot from making these pages like the rules for marble games I have learned a lot from this course for example I learned how do use Inspiration and Claris Home Page. In Claris Home Page I learned how to create links, insert images etc.
