The Atlantic Spotted
Dolphin is an oceanic dolphin. The Atlantic Spotted has a sturdy
body, and it's body is fusiform. The snout is well defined from
the rest of the body. The dorsal
fin is medium sized, large and
falcate, and the pectoral fins are falcate, and have a pointed
end. The flukes have a median
notch. This dolphin is usually blue,
and the stomach is lighter than the back. There are white dots all
around the dolphin. The babies don't have spots until they have
matured. The fins are all dark. There are 34 to 37 small coned
shape teeth on each side of both jaws.
