The Amazon River Dolphin is a river dolphin. It can be found in the Amazon Basin. The Amazon River Dolphin's colors vary from environment to environment, and as they age. The young ones are a dark gray and are little bit lighter on the stomach. The adults have a dark gray back, lighter than on the younger ones. The adults also have a brilliant pink stomach. Some adults can even be all pink! This dolphin's head is characterized by a long beak that has sensitive hairs on it. The dorsal of this dolphin is on only slightly raised. It is a bit less developed than the other dolphins. The flukes and flippers of the Amazon River Dolphins are unusually long and extended. They have 24 to 30 teeth on each jaw.
