The Peale's Dolphin is a coastal dolphin. It can be found on the shores of South Africa, and the Falkland Islands. Peale's dolphin's snout is slightly differentiated from the melon. The dorsal fin is medium high well-defined and falcate. The pectoral fins are rather small compared to the rest of the body. The caudal has a medium-sized notch on the side of the dolphin. The dorsal fin area is black, or a dark gray, the melon to the flukes. From the snout to the eyes are a different color black. The lower jaw is also black, while the throat is white. The flanks are gray, and the flippers are black. This dolphin has a demarcation line in shape of a black line.
