   Gemini 11 launched on September 12 , 1966. The crew was Charles Conrad and Richard Gordon. Its main purpose was to rendezvous and dock with Gemini Agena target vehicle. It also had to practice docking and do a spacewalk. A 30 meter line was tied to the crafts during the spacewalk  by Gordon. Gemini 11 made 44 orbits in 2 days and 23 hours, while at an altitude of 1368.9km.
