   Gemini 5 was the 3 manned Gemini mission. It left the launch pad on August 21, 1965. The crew was Gordon Copper and Charles Conrad. The objective of this mission was to see how the rendezvous Guidance and Navigation system with radar evaluation pod worked and the effects of weightlessness for 8 days. problems come up with the full cell that prevented rendezvous with the radar evaluation pod.
