The
NAACP is an organization of civil rights in the United States.
It was found by sixty black and white people in 1909. It started
so it could end discrimination. A lawyer named Thurgood Marshall
had presented the argument for the NAACP. Through many years,
the NAACP worked for black people to have the right to vote, to
stop public discrimination , and many other things. They succeeded
in a lot of their goals. The NAACP has a headquarters in Baltimore.
