Saturn was first discovered in the seventeenth century by an astronomer named Galileo Galilei. It is the 2nd biggest planet in the solarsystem. It is the sixth planet from the sun. It is made up of hydrogen and helium. It has 8 rings. The rings are created of many pieces of ice, rock, and dust. Saturn's 18 moons are, Pan, Atlas, Prometheus, Pandora, Epimetheus, Janus, Mimas, Enceladus, Tethys, Telesto, Calypso, Dione, Helene, Rhea, Titan, Hyperion, Lapetus, Phoebe. People will never be able to land on Saturn because the gases would destroy the ship before it would hit the core. There is no plant life on Saturn. 1 Saturnian year equals 29.46 earth years.
