Jupiter

Jupiter

Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun. It is the heavist. If you put all of the comets, asteroids, planets, and all of their satellites on one side of a big scale, and Jupiter on the other side, Jupiter would still be heavier. It I is the largest planet in our solar system. It is 88, 735 miles in diameter. It takes 9 hours and 50.4 minutes to make 1 full rotation. 1 Earth year is equal to 11.86 Jupiter years. Jupiter has at least 16 moons. Some of the largest moons include Callisto and Ganymede with diameters up to about 2, 995 and 3, 279 miles. Jupiter has even more surface gravity than Earth. It is 460.4-506.9 million miles away from the sun. Although not even visable with even the best telescope, the miniscule ring around Jupiter, is there. The enormous red spot on Jupiter is, in fact, a storm. Jupiter is not a solid, its a gas (all except for the core, witch is made of rock).
