Elizabeth

Over the past four months we have been working on this website to learn the answer to the question, "What makes a 5th grader tick?" In order to do this we administered two Questionnaires to our 5th grade class. Afterwards, we tabulated the results and then converted them into percentages. From the answers to these questions and the help of our professional therapist I learned more about what 5th graders feel, know, do, want, and enjoy. I also learned more about what 5th graders would do if they could, are good at, and what they love.

I learned that we feel good about ourselves because our parents tell us that we can achieve and excell in order to meet our goals. Another thing that I learned is that peer pressure comes from classmates and friends who try to get you to do something you don't want to do. We learned that if we need to talk to someone about peer pressure, we could talk to our family members, the team, our teachers, and our friends.

I was especially happy to learn that we all said that we were truthful and honest. We do this because we do not want to hurt others. We all agreed that it is important to talk to someone we can trust about our feelings so we don't take our anger out on others. These are my reactions, and mine only.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth
