Hawaiian Games
The Hawaiians liked to play games. After harvest time, they would have a four-month long celebration called Makahiki. Makahiki lasted from October until January! They would have contests and play sports and games.

Hawaiian Games You Can Play

Konane

Konane (koh-nah-knee) is a Hawaiian game with black and white rocks that is like checkers. It takes a lot of thinking. It is fun to play and harder than checkers. You can make your own konane board and get small pebbles or markers for the playing pieces.
